  1. i think the affirmative side won this debate because he had great facts and came back strong when a follow up question was asked and responded great to his competitor

  2. Sophie Boyd has a really good point. Like she said, bullying doesn’t only start from physical education it can start from anything. There are courses for kids with disabilities so they can participate in a physical education class and have some type of movement as well.

  3. I think that Mauro performed better since his points were explained better. One good point was that obesity rates are high and it can have a lasting effect on the future. However one of the points that were confusing was that kids should be motivated to work out. How will they get motivated?

  4. The first video was very informal. They all knew what they talked about very well, I feel like Somi Boyd had a stronger argument which was very understandable. She had facts that supported her claim very well. while I felt Dah Balah Sher had facts that were easy to rebut making her side weaker.

    1. I actually disagree about the negative side :). I think Dah Blah did her best and she also had some good points too about bullying and her experiences

  5. Video was well put together. During the interview Negative kept blocking his mouth so I couldn’t really hear him which was the only problem but overall it was a decent debate.

  6. I think the affirmative side won this debate because he was very concise throughout the entire video with his 3 points and also during the debate he had very good reasoning’s supporting his side and he seemed prepared for the debate.

  7. I think Mauro (affirmative side) won because he had really clear points that were well supported by some research. He also had good responses to the questions that were being asked. I think he did a really good job when he approached Alan with the question, making him contradict his side of the debate.

    1. Yes thank you very much. I do agree that Somi did a great job but since dah blah is in the negative side about PE it is hard for her to remember facts. You can’t really find negative sides of PE because everyone knows PE is important and there are a lot of things you can do during PE instead of sitting and doing nothing. I think one major point about not doing PE is bullying and getting hit by the ball. Thank you!

  9. I think Mauro Ruiz won the debate because he gave a lot of details about why Physical Education should be required. Mauro also talked about his own experience during physical education class such as he never saw anyone getting bullied during P.E and he likes playing sports during P.E and its fun. Lastly Mauro talked more than Alan did and gave reasons about why he agrees and he didn’t just say yes or yea. He didn’t really hesitate to answer the questions that was asked by the interviewer. He seemed pretty quick.

  11. I think Tajkeya won the debate since her points were pretty concise. There were some good rebuttals, however some points dragged on too long. The images in the video really connected the points to the picture well.

The images she showed in her video were very strong in proving her point that physical education is good for everyone and everyone can do it.

  16. I think Mauro Ruiz won the debate because he have strong and good details on his side of the debate, why physical education should be required in school. He was very open minded about his reasons and his experience in P.E. classes and how fun it was for him, while the negative side just supported the affirmative side. Overall, the debate was decent!

  18. How I see it, Somi basically won in this debate, she counter on Dah Blah bullying point and said that bullying happened mostly anywhere.
