Bernice Garcia (15) isn’t just another sophomore student at Senn High School. This brunette is a resident of Edgewater and is working at one of the most famous Doughnuts shops ” Dunkin Donuts”. She’s a athletic, open minded and a risk taker. I decided to ask Bernice some questions and found out some interesting facts.
Zivkovic : Why did you start working so young?
Garcia: A lot of free time is the reason. After trying a lot of different spots, this summer I decided to ask my parents for a work permit. I work from 6am-12pm on the weekend and from 5pm-7pm on school days.
Zivkovic: Where do you see yourself in the future? What would you like to be, and why?
Garcia: I see myself as a doctor because when you are sick, doctors give you medicine that will help and make you feel better. For me, it’s interesting how few pills can make you feel better.
Zivkovic: Who is your role model and why?
Garcia: My parents are my role models. Even when they are sick they take care of me and go to work. It’s that what makes them special to me.
Zivkovic: Is there something you would like to change about school?
Garcia: There is only one thing. Food in the cafeteria is the only thing I would change.
Zivkovic; What do you like to watch on the TV?
Garcia: I just started watching Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries, I like to watch does two shows. They are really interesting
